Mr. Bertram Forbes- 18 X 24 collage on canvas, torn and dyed papers. Mr. Forbes was the grounds keeper and local bush medicine man at Gerace Research Centre where we lived for years in the Bahamas. He knew what every plant could cure. He posed for me many times and never understood why anyone would want to paint his ordinary face. I painted him (poorly) years ago but I think the collage really brings out the true character.
